Peter Kehle, Cory Older, and Andre Desnoyers joined together to form River City Homes in 2014 with the desire to develop innovative residential urban in-fill projects. Collectively, the team has over 50 years of experience in real estate sales, government regulation, land planning, and construction.

Peter Kehle 


Peter a lifelong Austinite began his career in finance, later moving to real estate and construction in 1995 with the creation of Cherokee Construction. The Company would go on to serve as a prime contractor for projects from Georgetown to Laredo, Texas. Peter handled all aspects of project estimating and initially served as a superintendent and project manager while growing the firm to over 100 employees. As CEO for River City Homes, Peter is integral in all aspects of the business from land acquisition thru home completion. Peter graduated from the University of Texas in Austin and lives in central Austin.

Cory Older

Cory Older, CPA, has worked in finance and real estate for over 10 years and holds an active real estate license in Texas. Cory began investing in rental and development properties in 2005 and then in 2007 accepted the position as controller at Keller Williams Realty International (KW), now the world’s largest residential real estate company. Cory later moved out of finance, and served as Director of KW’s Commercial Real Estate division, and then later led the Global Property Specialist division and the Young Professionals Division. Cory obtained his bachelors and masters’ degrees in accounting from the University of Arizona, and later obtained his MBA from the Acton School of Entrepreneurship. Cory leads property acquisition, sales, and investor relations.

Andre Desnoyers

Andre Desnoyers, Vice President has in excess of 25 years’ experience in commercial and residential construction. He has supervised the completion of over one million square feet of construction in Austin, Texas. Graduating high school early, Andre joined the U.S. Air Force at 17. His time in the military exposed Andre to project management practices providing the foundation for his work to this day. Andre began his private sector construction career initially repairing and remodeling estate homes in Oceanside, CA. In 1994 he accepted a position in Austin with Legend Communities; where over the next 10 years he served as a construction superintendent and project manager for single family communities and multifamily developments. His projects have included single family subdivisions, urban infill homes, condominiums, apartments and commercial projects.
